Scamps officially formed at the start of 2025. We all met taking classes at the Free Association theatre, based in London. After nine months of weekly rehearsals with our coach Laura Riseborough, we performed our first show. From Sept to Dec 2025, we performed 11 shows in 12 weeks, including our winning run at the FA’s Cage Match tournament.

Scamps are in the enviable position of getting to make people laugh with the people who make us laugh most. We hope that when you watch our shows you can see just how much we find one another funny.

How many Scamps does it take to change a lightbulb? 8! Two to set up a grounded lightbulb changing scene, and 6 to giggle on the backline when one of them sullenly reveals that lightbulbs remind them of their ex-partner’s bottom.
